Saturday 24th June 8.00 pm

Coope. Boyes & Simpson’s farewell UK tour comes to the Brook next weekend. Known for their close 3-part harmonies delivered in acapella style and for their social commentary with biting humour in their lyrics, the trio have been folk favourites for 23 years

Following the re-location of bass singer Jim Boyes to Belgium, it has become increasingly difficult for the trio to prepare for recordings and tours. They have decided to pursue separate musical paths, though not before one final album and tour. At Mellor Brook, they shall sing material from their new and final album Coda, as well as revisiting their extensive back catalogue.
